This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions.
Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required.
A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here.
You are welcome to use my images, or use your own
If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.

Preparation:

Open your tube
Duplicate 2x
Close the original
Minimize 1

Make a 150 x 150 Transparent image
Minimize
Candy Cane
Edit/Copy
Duplicate
Close original
Resize to 100 px

Step 1:

Take you tube - SantaWithGifts_vsc
Layers/New Raster Layer
Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom
Flood fill with Red
Image/Add Borders/2 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/10px/White
Highlight this border
Maximize your copy of the tube
Make a selection somewhere on Santa or the gifts
Edit/Copy
Take your 150x150 Image
Selections/Select All
Edit/Paste into Selection
Selections/Select None
Effects/Reflection/Kaleidoscope

Deselect

Step 2:

Edit/Copy your kaleidoscope image
Edit/Paste this into your border
Effects/I-Decay/Sin Spin Sugar
Spin: 71
Alpha?: 214
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow

Deselect

Step 3:

Image/Add Borders/2px/Black
Selections/All
Selections/Modify/Contract 13
Selections/Invert
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a new image
Minimize this frame
Selections/None
Image/Add Borders/20px/White
Highlight this border
Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood Fill Red
Effects/ULead/Particle

Lower the opacity of this layer to 50
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow - Use both

Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

Deselect

Step 4:

Image/Add Borders/2 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/30px/White
Highlight this border
Edit/Copy your frame
Edit/Paste into Selection
There will be some white
Deselect
Highlight the white border
Take your kaleidoscope image
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste into Selection
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadows - add both
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel - same as before
Deselect
Layer/New Raster Layer
Add watermark

Step 5:

Take your candy cane
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a new Layer onto your main image
Image/Mirror
Place this in the upper left hand corner
Effects/Simple/Top Left Mirror
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow

Color: Black

Step 6:

Take your font (might show on your list as 'Kringle')

Add a caption
Add your Name
Convert to a raster layer
Highlight your Raster 2 layer
Layers/Merge/Merge Down
Highlight your Raster 3 layer
Layers/Merge/Merge Down
Close off your bottom layer
Selections/All
Selections/Float
Selections Defloat
Go to your layer palette and duplication this layer twice ( you will have 4 layers total)
Open your bottom layer back up
Activate the top layer
Adjust/Add Remove Noise

Activate your middle layer
Adjust/Add Remove Noise

Activate your 3rd layer
Adjust/Add Remove Noise

Selections/Select None
Layers/View/None

Step 7:

Open the top and bottom layers make sure that the top layer is activated
Edit/Copy Merged
Open Animation Shop and Paste as a new animation
Back to PSP
Close the top layer and open the middle layer
Edit/Copy Merged
Go to Animation Shop Edit/Paste/Paste After Current Frame
Back to PSP, check the middle layer and uncheck the bottom layer
Go to Animation Shop Edit/Paste/Paste After Current Frame
Check animation (Right click/View animation)
Still in Animation, click Animation/Resize Animation and change the height to 350 pixels
