Notes: This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions. Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required. A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here. You are welcome to use my images, or use your own If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.
Supplies: Jenfam002 Andrews Filters 4 Simple
Preparation: Open a transparent 500 x 500 image - Minimize Open a transparent 250 x 250 image
Edit/Copy your images Edit/Paste as new Images
Pick 2 colors from your image (I chose #908c81 and #61625c)
Step 1: Take the 250 x 250 image Flood fill with your dark color Take the woman image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a New Layer
Step 2: Re-Size just the image layer to 40% - size is your choice Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling/Default Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Effects/Plugins/Andrews Filters 4/Too Many Drinks... Effects/Reflection Effects/Feedback Effects/Plugins/Simple/Top Left Mirror Layers/New Raster Layer Flood fill with White Lower the opacity to 50% - or what looks good to you Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Edit/Copy
Step 3: Take your 500 x 500 image Selections/Select All Edit/Paste Into Selection Selections/Select None Minimize
Step 4: Back to your 250 x 250 image Selections/Select All Layers/New Raster Layer Take your woman image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a New Layer Move the image down Selections/Select None
Step 5: Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel Image/Add Border/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/10 px/White Take the 500 x 500 image Edit/Copy Minimize Edit/Paste Into Selection Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Selections/Select None
Step 6: Take the 2 colors that you chose in the beginning Make a gradient out of these colors Image/Add Borders/20 px/White Flood fill with your gradient Selections/Select None Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/10 px/White Highlight this border
Step 7: Go to your 500 x 500 image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste Into Selection Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Selections/Select None
Step 8: Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a New Layer onto your 500 x 500 image Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Selection Tool S Click on the Custom Selection Using these settings Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel Selections/Select None Image/Add Borders/2 px/Black
Step 9: Layers/New Raster Layer Add Name Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Layers/New Raster Layer Add Watermark Layers/New Raster Layer -- Optional Add a Caption -- Optional Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Re-Size to 500 on the longest side - if needed
