Pavilion Betty

  Notes:
This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions.
Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required.
A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here.
You are welcome to use my images, or use your own
If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.

Advanced
 
Supplies:
BB 64
Paviion-2-Belle-Graphics
grass_2
SD SPRING TIME SUN
Filters Unlimited
 
Preparation:
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste As A New Layer - both images
 
500 x 500 Transparent Image
 
Step 1:
Transparent Image
Flood fill with White
Effects/Plugins/Filters Unlimited/Render/Clouds (White/Blue)/Default
 
Step 2:
Take the pavilion Image
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a New Layer
Close off the Pavilion layer
 
Step 3:
Take the grass image
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a New Layer
Move the first layer so that it looks its coming from the ground.
Keep the layers of grass going until you reach the desired height - Mine was 3
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow

Re-Open the pavilion image
While still on the pavilion layer
Layers/Arrange/Send to Top
Take Raster 3 and bring to the top
This is what you should have:

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow/Same as above
 
Step 4:
Take the sun image
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a New Layer
Re-Size to 60% or what looks good toy you
Layers/Arrange/Move the sun layer until the pavilion
Move the sun to the upper right hand corner
Close the pavilion layer
Make sure that the sun layer is highlighted
Take your magic wand and select around sun using these settings

Highlight the flames on the sun
Adjust/Add - Remove Noise/Add Noise

Effects/3d Effects/Drop Shadow

Selections/Select None
 
Step 5:
Edit/Copy Betty Boop
Edit/Paste as a New Layer
Image/Re-Size to 75% or what looks good to you
Move Raster 3 to the top
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow/Same as above
 
Step 6:
Image/Add Borders/1px/Black
Choose a color from your image
Image/Add Borders/10 px/Chosen color
Highlight this border
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
   
Selections/Select None
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black

Step 7:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Watermark
Add a Caption
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow

Add Name

Layers/Merge/Merge Visible

Re-Size to 400 on the longest side, or what looks good to you
