Missing You

Notes:
This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions.
Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required.
A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here.
You are welcome to use my images, or use your own
If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.

Preparation:
Pick 2 colors
 
Edit/Copy (all images)
Edit/Paste as a new Image (all images)
The Background image - 2 images
Close all originals
 
Step 1:
Edit/Copy - The woman
Edit/Paste as a new layer (onto the background)
Image/Re-size to 250 on the longest side - or what looks good to you
Move to the left side
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow


Step 2:
Highlight the Background Layer
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Layers/New Raster Layer
Image/Add Borders/25/White
Highlight this border
Edit/Copy your background - the second copy
Edit/Paste Into Selection
Effects/Plugins/Filters Unlimited/Tile & Mirror/XY Offset 50% {positive}
Effects/Reflection Effects/Kaleidoscope

Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
  

Step 3:
Selections/Invert
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

Selections/Invert
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a New Image -- your frame
Image/Greyscale
Back to your main image
Selections/Select None
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black

Step 4:
Image/Add Borders/25 px/White
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Highlight this border
Edit/Copy - background image
Edit/Paste Into Selection
Selections/Select None

Step 5:
Image/Add Borders/25 px/White
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Highlight this border
Take your frame
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste Into Selection
Selections/Select None
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Image/Greyscale
Image/Re-Size to 500 on the longest side

Step 6:
Take the male image
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a New Layer
Image/Re-Size to 450 - Or what loos good to you
Move to the right side
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
 

Step 7:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Name
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
 
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Watermark
Layers/New Raster Layer -- Optional
Add a Caption -- Optional
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow -- Optional  - Same as above
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Re-Size to 500 on the longest side - if needed
