Heart Love

Notes:
This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions.
Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required.
A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here.
You are welcome to use my images, or use your own
If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.
 
Supplies:

Filters Unlimited - Filter

Preparation:
Pick 2 colors from the heart - 1 dark and the other one light/med
 
Open a transparent image 600 x 500


Step 1:
On your transparent image
View/Rulers
Make a 300 x 250 box

Flood fill with your dark color
Selections/Invert
Flood fill with your light/med color
Selections/Select None
 
Step2:
Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling/Default
Effects/Reflection Effects/Kaleidoscope/Default
Effects/Distortion Effects/Twirl/Default
 
Step 3:
Heart Image
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a new layer
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow


Step 4:
Close off the background layer
Highlight the heart layer
Take your magic wand
Highlight the middle heart
Selections/Expand/6 px
Go to your male image
Take your selection tool and make a selection around the head of the image
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste into Selection
Selections/Select None
Repeat for each of the hearts
Close the male image
Open the background layer
 
Step 5:
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/10 Dark Color
Image/Add Borders/2 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/10 px/Light color
Selections/Select All
Selections/Modify/Contract/22 px
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

Selections/Invert
Effects/Plugins/Filters Unlimited/Convolution Filters/Emboss Light/Default
Selections/Select None
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black

Step 6:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Name
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow

Layers/New Raster Layer
Add a Caption - Optional
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow - Optional
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Watermark
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Re-Size to 500 on the longest side
