Notes: This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work in other versions. Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required. You are welcome to use my images, or use your own If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.
Supplies: aed_MotherEarth_sm_2003 m030210
Preparation: Pick 2 colors from your image (I chose #fec665 and #ffac42) - Make a gradient out of these colors
Open a transparent 500 x 500 image
Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a new image - all images 3x
Take your accent image, decide which one you want to use Take your selection tool and select around this accent Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a new Image
Step 1: Flood Fill your transparent image with your gradient Take the original copied woman image Layers/New Raster Layer Flood fill with your gradient Highlight your woman image Layers/Arrange/Bring To Top Effects/Image Effects/Seamless Tiling/Default Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Minimize both images
Step 2: Take the another copy of the woman Layers/New Raster Layer Flood fill with your gradient Layers/Arrange/Bring To Top Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Effects/Reflection Effects/Kaleidoscope
Step 3: Maximize the gradient Take the woman image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a New Layer Image/Re-Size to 80% - or whatever looks good to you Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Close this image of the woman
Step 4: Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/4 px/Dark Color Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/25 px/White Highlight this border
Step 5: Maximize your Seamless tiled woman image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste Into Selection Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel Selections/Select None Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/4 px/Dark Color Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/25 px/White Highlight this border
Step 6: Take your kaleidoscope image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste Into Selection Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel Selections/Select None Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/4 px/Dark Color Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Step 7: Selections/Select All Selections/Modify/Contract/68 Selections/Invert Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a new Image Selections/Select None Go back to your seamless image Edit/Copy Go to your Kaleidoscope image Edit/Paste as a new layer Lower the opacity to 50% - or what looks good to you
Step 8: Image/Add Borders/25 px/White Highlight this border Edit/Copy - (Your seamless and kaleidoscope image) Edit/Paste Into Selection Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel Image/Add Borders/68 px/White Highlight this border Take your Frame image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste Into Selection Selections/Invert Effects/3D Effects/Outer Bevel
Step 9: Take the accent that you chose earlier Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a new Layer Image/Re-Size to 40% Image/Free Rotate Move the accent to the bottom - or where it looks good to you Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
Step 10: Add Name Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Layers/New Raster Layer Add Watermark Layers/New Raster Layer -- Optional Add a Caption -- Optional Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow -- Optional - Same as above Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Re-Size to 500 on the longest side - if needed
