Notes: This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work in other versions. Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required. You are welcome to use my images, or use your own If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.
Intermediate
Preparation: Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a new Image -- all images Pick 2 colors from any of the images (I chose #88a8db and #5a69ac)
Pick a corner that you would like to use -- highlight the corner Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a new Image
Step 1: Edit/Copy - your fairy Edit/Paste as a New Layer - your fairy image onto your background Image Re-Size to 69% - or what looks good to you Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Effects/3D Effects/Buttonize Close the fairy image
Step 2: Highlight your background image Edit/Copy Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/20 px/White Highlight this border Edit/Paste Into Selection Effects/3D Effects/Chisel Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Selections/Select None
Step 3: Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/40 px/White Selections/Select All Selections/Modify/Contract/20 Selections/Invert Edit/Paste Into Selection Right click on the background Layer Click on Duplicate Click on the background layer Image/Add Borders/1px/Black Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
Step 5: Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a New Layer Image/Left Free Rotate Select None
Step 6: Close your top Layer Take your magic wand Highlight every other border Flood fill with one of your colors - will have to highlight them separately Select None Take your magic wand and select the white parts of this same border Flood fill these selections, using your other color Highlight all of what used to be your white border Effects/Artistic Effects/Topography Open your layer Selections/Select None Image/Re-Size to 500 on the longest side
Step 7: Edit/Copy your corner Edit/Paste as a new Layer onto your image Image/Mirror Image/Flip Move the corner to the upper left corner Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Effects/Plugins/Simple/Top Left Mirror
Step 8: Layers/New Raster Layer Add Name Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Layers/New Raster Layer Add Watermark Layers/New Raster Layer -- Optional Add a Caption -- Optional Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow -- Optional - Same as above Layers/Merge/Merge Visible Re-Size to 500 on the longest side - if needed
