Dragon

Notes:
This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions.
Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required.
A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here.
You are welcome to use my images, or use your own
If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.
 

Intermediate

Supplies:
BDragon

Simple
Distort
Andrews 46

Preparation:
Edit/Copy - all images
Edit/Paste as  a new Image - all images
 
Pick 2 colors from either images
 
Step 1:
Take the background
Re-size to 500 on the longest side
Take the dragon
Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a new Layer - onto the background
Re-size the dragon 50% - or whatever looks good to you
Move the dragon to the right side - or wherever looks good to you
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
   
 
Step 3:
Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 4000/Fire

Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Edit/Copy
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/40 px/White
Highlight this border
Edit/Paste into selection
Image/Mirror
Effects/Plugins/Simple/Top Left Mirror
Edit/Copy
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
   
 
Step 4:
Effects/Plugins/Distort/Glass/Default
Effects/Plugins/Andrews 46/Hazy Sort of Scene/Default
Edit/Copy

Step 5:
Selections/Select All
Selections/Modify/Contract/20 px
Selections/Invert
Effects/3D Effects/Outer Bevel

Repeat Outer Bevel
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
 
Step 6:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Name
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
   
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Watermark
Layers/New Raster Layer -- Optional
Add a Caption -- Optional
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow -- Optional  - Same as above
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Re-Size to 500 on the longest side
