Notes: This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions. Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required. A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here. You are welcome to use my images, or use your own If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.
Preparation: Pick 2 colors from your image (I chose #9c7b53 and #e5c29e)
Place the mask into your mask folder
Step 1: Fairy image Edit/Copy Edit/Paste as a new Image Close the original Layers/New Raster Layer Flood fill with your Dark layer Layers/New Raster Layer Flood fill with your Light color Layers/Load-Save Mask/Load Mask From Disk Highlight the mask layer - (Group Raster 4) Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Highlight the fairy image Layers/Merge/Bring to Top Close off this layer Highlight Group-Raster 4 layer Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Step 3: Open the fairy image Hightlight the fairy image (if not highlighted already) Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Step 4: Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/10 px/Dark Color Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black Image/Add Borders/10 px/Light color Selections/Select All Selections/Modify/Contract/21px Selections/Invert Effects/Plugins/Filters Unlimited/Lens Effects/Convex/Default Selections/Select None Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Step 5: Layers/New Raster Layer Add a caption - optional Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Layers/New Raster Layer Add your name Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow Layers/New Raster Layer Add Watermark Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
