Bubbles


 

Notes:
This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions.
Some knowledge of, and experience with, PSP is required.
A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here.
You are welcome to use my images, or use your own
If any filters are used, please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP, Install, then start PSP again.
 
Supplies:
500 x 500 Transparent Image
Penta - Dot and Cross
 
Preparation:
Pick 2 colors of your choice (I chose #9a1618 and #a52558)
 
Step 1:
Flood fill with one of your colors
Effects/Artistic Effects/Balls and Bubbles




Select the magic wand

Click on the solid color on the image
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
   
Selections/Select None
 
Step 2:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with your other color
Lower the opacity to 45 %
Effects/Artistic Effects/Balls and Bubbles



 


Step 3:
Take your magic wand
 
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
   
Selections/Select None
 
Step 4:
Take the layer with the first color that you chose in the beginning of this tutorial
Highlight this layer
Effects/Plugins/Penta/Dot and Cross/Default
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Effects/Distortion Effects/Wind/Default
Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood fill with White
Lower the opacity to 20%
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
 
Step 5:
Image/Add Borders/1 px/first color
Image/Add Borders/1 px/2nd Color
Selections/All
Selections/Modify/Contract/2 px
Selections/Invert
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

 
Step 6:
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Name
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add Watermark
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
Re-Size to 500 on the longest side - if needed
