Notes:
This tut was done in PSP 10 but should work as well in other versions.
Some knowledge of and experience with PSP is required.
A trial version of PSP can be downloaded from here.
You are welcome to use my images or use your own
If any filters are used please note that if you don't already have them installed that you will have to close PSP Install then start PSP again.
Supplies:
Angel_Wind~Jodi
Photo Swizzle - Prism +- Filter -- Make sure installed before opening PSP
Your choice of font and settings
Preparation:
Open the tube Edit/Copy
Edit/Paste as a new Image
Image/Re-size/80%
Make sure that All Layers is unchecked
Close the original
Move the tube to the lower left side
Pick 2 colors fro m your tube
Make a gradient from these 2 colors
Step 1:
Working on your tube
Layers/New Raster Layer
Flood fill this layer with your gradient
Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom
Close off your tube layer
Highlight your Gradient Layer
Selections/Select All
Adjust/Add-Remove Noise/Add Noise
Selections/Selections None
Step 2:
Effects/Illumination Effects/Sunburst
Open your tube layer again
Layer/Merge/Merge Visible
Step 3:
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/10 px/White
Highlight this border
Flood Fill with your gradient or you can leave white for a different effect - your choice
Effects/Reflections/Kaleidoscope
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel
Selections/Selections None
Step 4:
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/20 px/white
Highlight this border
Flood Fill gradient that you made before
Effects/Plugins/PhotoSwizzle/Prism+
Deselect
Selections/All
Selections/Modify/Contract/32 px
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout
Selections/Invert
Edit/Copy
Selections/Selection None
Image/Add Borders/1 px/Black
Image/Add Borders/52 px/White
Highlight this border
Edit/Paste Into Selection
Deselect
Image/Add Borders 1 px Black
Re-size to 300 x 300 or what looks good you
Layers/New Raster Layer
Add watermark
Add your Name
Add a Caption
Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
